This program prepares Students to work in a hospital environment under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or a Doctor. Following the classroom and laboratory training, students will partake in a provided externship in order to develop their skills and get a real-world experience. Externships for the Patient Care Technician program will take place at skilled nursing facility.
NOTE: If you are not a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), you will have to receive and complete a CNA training course before you enrolling in the Patient Care Technician (PCT) program.
